"Joan of Arc” Kitten laughed.
“You are not Joan of Arc. You are older than that… Nobody really knows where you come from.” Zenn admitted. He stepped up to the wolf pack’s bar door and placed a hand on the handle. “Try not to rip them apart… without reason.”
Kitten pouted and muttered something as Zenn opened the door and drowned the girl out.
The two vampires stepped into the ware wolf bar, looking around. They weren’t as out of place as Zenn had expected. He looked around, his eye caught sight of humans, ware-wolves, even a Halfling or two. They were mingled, all of them, Humans danced with Wolves, Halflings danced with Humans and a number of Wolves carried Halflings upon their backs. Nothing like the Vampire bars, all vampires, and no mingling among different sects and covens. Zenn was caught half way between disgust and reverence. It was odd.
At the far end of the room a large wolf looked over the club from a balcony. The wolf was taller than the others, broader, it’s fur was a greying auburn. A scar running across its face indicated to the vampires that he had seen battle and judging by the evidence he had clearly won.
The wolf’s eyes met Zenn’s and it stood up, roaring, calling out across the club. Silence fell across the partygoers, only for a moment though. The moment passed and then growls, hissing, shouts and squeaking erupted. Every wolf, every human, every Halfling screamed out in anger at the vampires.
The lead wolf roared again and the room fell silent once more. “Vampires.” The wolf growled. “You enter my house uninvited, and against the agreement.” Barking erupted from the wolves and then quieted down. “What have you to say for yourselves?”
“I- We-” it was strange. Zenn was suddenly overcome with fear, he didn’t feel in danger of his life, but his words... they were gone.
“ My Name is Kitten and my watcher is Zenn.” Kitten called up, business tones and sanity restored, perhaps the return of Kitten’s old self was what had held the Vampires tongue. “We come here to offer an alliance between the Terra Vampire Clan and the Wolfpack of Leeds.” Kitten’s eyes looked around, groping at the faces that watched her. she could easily take their throats and mount them, but she might not be able to take on the Chectla alone.
“We are the wolf Pack!” the leader roared. The scribe girl was right about one thing. He was stubborn. “We need nothing from the vampires, we are stronger, smarter and far greater warriors than you puny Vampires.” The wolf stood up, placed it’s claws on the railing and growled. “Why would we ever ally ourselves with you glorified leaches?”
Kitten sighed and drew a blade. A murmur and general negative tone erupted from the crowd. A few stepped forward to challenge her but stopped as she began talking again. “The Chectla are returning to Endland.” she looked up at the wolf and moved. She didn’t move too fast for the naked eye to see but if you were not watching and expecting it when it happened you would not be able to follow it. she leapt from the entrance, onto a wolf, onto another and then up onto the balcony and pressed the blade against the Wolf leader’s throat. “I am just one ‘Puny Leaches’ How do you think you are going to do against an army of highly trained demon killing specialist ‘Glorified Leaches?”

“Well I think that went remarkably well.” Zenn said, as they stepped out of the wolf bar. Kitten stepped out after him, wearing a pelt of Auburn fur, and stroking the arms. “We went in to create an alliance, and not only did we do that, but we made an old friend of Mine the new Pack head.”
“Joan of Arc.” Kitten said, reverting back to her childish ways.
“Is an iconic figure in history who was burnt alive... you clearly have a body still.” Zenn sat back down, in the car and waited a moment before realising that the engine was still a few meters away. He got back out and walked over to a parked car. he smashed the window, unlocked it and sat inside. “You are Not Joan of Arc.”
